(To watch the sessions, please go to “Program” page. )

Visitors can watch all the sessions that contain a lot of cutting-edge knowledge by Japanese and foreign companies, international organizations, NGOs, fishermen, and academics who are driving seafood sustainability for free.

Tokyo Sustainable Seafood Summit has been held every year since 2015 by Seafood Legacy and Nikkei ESG. It has been a place where companies that want to proactively take measures to make the seafood industry sustainable through the spread of sustainable seafood can acquire practical knowledge. We have invited lecturers from a wide range of fields, including production sites, companies, NGOs, academics, and government officials. In 2021, 67 people took the stage and about 670 people participated.

The situation of promoting sustainability has changed significantly over the past few years. It is necessary to take measures not only for the environment, but also for social issues such as human rights, and for a new economic wave represented by ESG investment. There was a lot of discussion on these topics at the Tokyo Sustainable Seafood Summit 2021.

The archive site is useful for a wide range of people who are interested in sustainability in the seafood industry, including those who are going to start working on it, and those who have already started it.
