FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES LTD. and Toyo Reizo Co., Ltd. has joined the “Japan Responsible Seafood Procurement Roundtable (JRSR),”  a major Japanese seafood-related companies collaborative initiative, on July 10th, 2026.

 

With this addition, the total number of participating organizations has reached ten.

Through this Roundtable, we will continue to address challenges in sustainable seafood procurement—which are difficult to resolve through individual company efforts alone—by aiming for solutions through inter-company collaboration and implementing the following initiatives.

In 2026, we plan to publish a guide on the implementation of human rights, environmental due diligence and transparent traceability.

 

 The Japan Responsible Seafood Procurement Roundtable was established on October 2nd, 2025 by Seafood Legacy initiative. (Read more)
