CEO, Wakao Hanaoka has joined Friends of Ocean Action

We are pleased to announce that Wakao Hanaoka, CEO of Seafood Legacy Co., Ltd. was invited to join as a new member of Friends of Ocean Action.

Friends of Ocean Action is a coalition established under The World Economic Forum’s Ocean Action Agenda.

Its co-chairs are Peter Thomson, UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean and Isabella Lövin, Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden and over 50 global leaders from policy, science, NGO and business sectors are working for solving ocean issues, including plastic pollution, sustainable ocean production,  ending IUU (Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated) fishing.
